Enoch David Christopher Reed ( 1845-1930 )  was the son of Enoch Reed b.1809 in Ga. and Mariah ( Johnson ) Reed b. 1811 in Indiana . Enoch David was one of the six sons that fought in the Civil War.  He served as a Capt. in  the 26th Alabama Regiment , Marion County , Alabama . Enoch David was wounded and returned home to his parents . Enoch David married Sarah Loutisha ( West ) Reed ( 1848-1904 ) on 4 September 1868 in Al.  Sarah Loutisha was born in Cherokee County to James J. West and Carolina ( unknown ) West . Enoch David and Sarah Loutisha ( West ) Reed made their home in Franklin County , Alabama . They are found in the 1880 Federal Census . Enoch David Christopher is listed as head of household in the 1880 Federal Census . His father Enoch b. 1809 and mother Mariah (  Johnson  ) Reed b.1811  are not listed . We know they were listed in the 1870 Federal Census , so they both died between 1871 and 1879 . We know from family history records that Enoch David Christopher Reed's father established " The Reed Family Cemetery " on his own land . It is located near Newbury , Franklin County , Alabama .

Enoch David Christopher Reed ( 1845-1930 ) and Sara Loutisha ( West ) Reed ( 1848-1904 ) ,  started their life in Franklin County , Alabama .  All their children were born in Franklin County , Alabama . Enoch David was a farmer and times were good for the family . The farmland was good for growing Cotton , Corn and other crops. There was ample fowl and fish to add to the family menu . Enoch David and his family were very content living in Franklin , County . Alabama .

Joseph Johnson Reed ( 1872-1932 ) .    Joseph Johnson was born 2 Jan 1872 in Franklin County , Alabama . He was the oldest child of Enoch David and Sarah Loutisha . Joseph Johnson was a farmer and helped his father on the farm . Joseph Johnson died 8 November 1932 in Yell County , Arkansas and is buried in the Riley Creek Cemetery , Yell County , Ar. Joseph lived with his brother Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed after their move to Arkansas. Joseph Johnson never married .

Enoch Benjamin Reed ( 1873-1933 )  was the second child born to Enoch David Christopher Reed and Sarah Loutisha ( West ) Reed . Enoch B. was born in Franklin County , Alabama . Enoch Benjamin married , Arbelia  ( Farmer ) Reed ( 1881-1959 )   on 9 April 1898 , in Danville , Yell County , Arkansas. They made their home in Steve , Ar. Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed was the daughter of Littleton Farmer and Rebecca Louisa ( Woodall ) Farmer , Hunt , Johnston .  Enoch Benjamin was a farmer . Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed was the homemaker and helpmate to her husband . Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia had the following children :

  1. Ida Mae ( Reed ) Hollimon ( 1900-1952 ) , Ida Mae married Jesse James Hollimon ( 1896-1984 ) and settled in Ft. Smith , Arkansas . Ida Mae ( Reed ) Hollimon is buried in the Oak Cemetery , Ft, Sm , Arkansas .

 2. Effie Lee ( Reed ) McBride ( 1902-1985 ) , Effie Lee married Victor McBride ( 1897-1979 ) and they made their home in Havana , Ar. and in later years in Little Rock , Arkansas . Both Effie Lee and Victor McBride are buried in the McBride Family Cemetery near Havana , Arkansas.

 3. Earl Reed ( 1904 ) B/D and buried in the Nooner Cemetery , Yell County , Ar. 

 4. Jesse H. Reed ( 1906-1977 ) married Jearlene ( Lassiter ) Reed of Belleville , Ar.  Both Jesse H. and Jearlene ( Lassiter ) ( 1915-1953 )  are buried in the Russell Cemetery , Yell County , Ar.

 5.  Lula Marie ( Reed ) Woodard ( 1908-2000 ) , married Woodrow Woodard ( 1917-1999 ) on 26 June 1937 in Havana , Arkansas . They are buried together in the Memorial Park Gardens in Amarillo , Texas .

William Jesse " Bill " Reed ( 1876-1948 )  born in Franklin County , Alabama to Enoch David Christopher and Sarah Loutisha ( West ) Reed . William was born 21 Oct. 1876 and died 2 April 1948 in Arkoma , Okla.  William Jesse married Mary ( Hale ) Reed (1879-1940 ) . They are both buried in the New Hope Cemetery , Arkoma , Okla. William Jesse and Mary Hale Reed first made their home in Steve , Yell County , Arkansas . They made several moves over the years . Hot Springs , Ar. ,Braden & Peno , LeFore County , Ok.  William Jesse was a self made man . He had little formal education as was the norm. He studied and passed the bar to become a lawyer . That was a really remarkable thing for him to do . William Jesse and Mary had the following children together ;

 ( 1. ) Lawrence Reed (1898-1983 ) was the oldest son of William Jesse and Mary ( Hale ) Reed Lawrence was born 06 November 1898 and died 10 January 1983 . Lawrence married Grace ( Arnold ) ( 1902-1973 ) on 29 September 1917 in Bailey Branch , Yell County , Ar. They are both buried together in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery , Arkoma , Ok.

  ( 2)  David Edderage Reed ( 1901-2000 ) , was the second son born to William Jesse and Mary ( Hale ) Reed . He meet and married Anna Lea ( Unknown )
 14 January 1924 . Anna Lea was born 26 Sept 1903 in Ok. and died 14 June 1980 in California.

 ( 3.) Noah Westley Reed ( 1910 -1952 ) was the third son of William Jesse and Mary ( Hale ) Reed . Noah Westley was born 24 August 1910 in Hot Springs , Ar. and died 24 April 1952 in Inglewood , Calif. Noah married Hazel L.  Busbee , 03 Oct. 1931 . Hazel L also died in 1951 .

( 4.) Dovie Mae ( Reed ) Pryor ( 1914-1975 ) was the first daughter born to William Jesse and Mary ( Hale ) Reed . Dovie was born 17 August 1914  in Danville , Yell County , Ar.  Dovie married Robert Pryor . Dovie and Robert Pryor had no children of their own but raised the two children of Dovie's brother Noah Westley and Hazel ( Busbee ) Reed who both died .

 ( 5. )  Wayne Edgar Reed ( 1919-2000) was the fourth son born to William and Mary . He was a twin bother to Winnie E. Reed . Wayne Edgar was born 06 November 1919 in Peno , Ok. and died 02 September 2000 in LaGuna Niguel ,Orange County , Calif.  Wayne married Evelyn ( Unknown ) Reed 21 December 1946 in Ft. Sm. Ar.

 ( 6.  )Winnie E. Reed 1919-1984 ) was a twin sister to Wayne Edgar Reed . She was born 06 November 1919 in Peno , Ok. and died 19 September 1984 in Mukilted , Snohomish Co . Wa.  Winnie E. Married #1 . James Craig abt .1939 . Winnie E. married a second time to John Bozanich .They married 11 April 1943 .

Sara Jane Reed ( 1873-1906 ) ,      was the only daughter of Enoch David Christopher and Sarah Loutisha ( West ) Reed . Sara married James Albert Hawks ( 1873-1918 ) , 12 October 1893 in Yell County , Ar. They both are buried in the Hawks Cemetery , Scott County , Ar.  Sara Jane and James Albert Hawks had the following children together ; William " Bill " Hawks , Eda  ( Hawks  ) Dickson , Inoa Hawks , Adrian Hawks ,Mayne Hawks ,Doyle Wayne Hawks, Betty Hawks, Jack Hawks and Phil Hawks.       Note  : This list of children could be children and grandchildren . Would love to hear from someone who is directly connected to this family tree. We are still researching this family tree and all help is appreciated .

James Littleton Reed ( 1882-1956 ) ,   son of Enoch David Christopher Reed and Sarah Loutisha ( West ) Reed was born 08 December 1882 in Franklin County , Alabama . James Littleton "Lit" Reed died 14 April 1956 in Ft. Sm. Ar. He married Mary (Brannon ) Reed ( 1879-1975 ) on 13 July 1902 in Yell County , Arkansas. They are both buried in Forrest Park Cemetery in Ft Sm. Ar.  James Littleton and Mary Brannon had the following children : Thomas Reed b. 1903 , Bertha Reed born 14 May 1906 and died 18 August 1906 . She was buried in the Nooner Cemetery in Yell County , Ar. , Ruby N. Reed b. 1908 who married Rolla Coil , Robert Lewis Reed  b. 1912 , Carleen Reed b. 1915 , Christine Reed b.1915 , Henderson Reed b. 1917 and died 06 June 1980 . James Littleton and Mary Reed raised two of her brother's children after their  parents  died , they were , Gloyd Brannon and lloyd G. Brannon.

 Thomas Calvin ( Cab ) Reed ( 1883-1959 )     last son born to Enoch David Christopher Reed and Sarah Loutisha ( West ) Reed . Thomas was born 16 September 1883 and died 05 August 1959 in Okla City , Okla. Thomas married #1 . Doras Kirk , 23 November 1905 in Yell County , Arkansas . She was born abt. 1883 .. He married #2. Jossie Lourinda Lofton September 1925 in Oklahoma City , Okla. Jossie was born 24 April 1906 in Dallas , Texas .  Thomas Calvin divorced Dorcas Kirk after they had two children . The children of Thomas Calvin and Doras Kirk were ; Flora Reed ,died unknown in Northern Ar. and Ruth Reed , died unknown in Ar.  The children Thomas Calvin had with his second wife were ; daughter b. 1927 , living , Elva Jane Elizabeth Reed , born 22 May 1930 in Oklahoma City , Okla and died 28 January 1946 . daughter b. 1932 , living. Thomas Calvin Reed was buried in Oklahoma City , Okla.
