Enoch Benjamin Reed ( 1873-1933 ) and Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed ( 1881-1959 ) and Family.

Enoch Benjamin " Knox " Reed was born , 30th day of January , 1873 in Franklin County , Alabama . Enoch Benjamin was the second child born to Enoch David Christopher and Sara Loutisha ( West ) Reed . Family history says Enoch Benjamin had very red hair. I am sure he was very proud of his red hair and that was one of the things that caught Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed 's eye in those early days.

Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia ( Farmer ) were married 9th day of April 1898 in Yell County , Arkansas . Enoch Benjamin was only 16 yrs old when he came to Arkansas with his parents. The family settled in Steve , Arkansas . Enoch Benjamin had four brothers and one sister . His father Enoch David Chrisopher Reed was looking for a better life for his family and he and Sara Loutisha decided Arkansas was a place of great opportunity . Enoch Benjamin's oldest brother was Joseph Johnson Reed ( 1872-1932 ) . The other brother's were , William Jesse " Bill " Reed ( 1876-1948 ) ,James Littleton " Lit " Reed ( 1882-1956 ) and Thomas Calvin " Cab ' Reed ( 1884-1959 ). The only girl in the family was sister Sara Jane ( Reed ) Hawks. ( 1878- ).

Ida Mae Reed ( 1900-1952 ) Ida Mae was born 15th August 1900 in Steve , Yell County , Arkansas . Ida Mae meet and married Jesse James Hollimon ( 1896-1984 ) . Jesse James and Ida Mae ( Reed ) Hollimon made their home in Fort Smith , Arkansas . Ida Mae and Jesse James had two children together . One daughter b/d and buried in the Riley Creek Cemetery, Yell County , Arksnsas in 1921 . Another child which is living. Ida Mae was very active in her church and community . Ida Mae ( Reed ) Hollimon is buried in the Oak Cemetery in Ft. Sm. Arkansas.

Effie Lee ( Reed ) McBride ( 1902-1985 ) was the second child born to Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed of Steve , Yell County , Arkansas .Effie Lee was born 23 September 1902 . Effie Lee meet and married Victor McBride ( 1897-1979 ) . They were married 25 December ,1924 . They first homeplace was Cedar Creek ,Yell County , Arkansas . In their later years they made their home in Little Rock , Arkansas . They had two children who are still living . Effie Lee was the granddaughter of Littleton Farmer and Rebecca Louisa ( Woodall ) Farmer , Hunt ,Johnston . Effie Lee is buried beside her husband Victor McBride in the McBride Cemetery near Havana , Yell County , Arkansas. Effie Lee passed away on 2 Oct. 1985 in Little Rock , Arkansas.

Earl Reed ( 1904-1905 was the third child born to Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed . Earl was born on 17 March 1904 and he died 07 May 1905 in Yell County , Arkansas . Little Earl was buried in the Nooner Cemetery , Yell County , Arkansas . His marker should say " Here lies one of God's Little Angels " .

Jesse H. Reed ( 1906-1977 ) was born in Steve , Yell County , Arkansas to Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed . Jesse H. was a grandson of Enoch David Christopher and Sara Loutisha ( West ) Reed . Jesse H. was the second son born to Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia . Jesse H. meet and married Jearlene Lassiter ( 1915-1953 ) .Jearlene and Jesse H. had four children , three are still living . Jesse Hubert was born 7 August 1906 and died 13 July 1977 . He is buried in the Russell Cemetery next to his wife Jearlene ( Lassiter ) Reed . The Russell Cemetery is near Belleville , Yell County , Arkansas .

Lula Marie ( Reed ) Woodard ( 1908-2000 ) . Lula Marie was the youngest child of Enoch Benjamin and Arbelia ( Farmer ) Reed . Lula Marie was the granddaughter of Enoch David Christopher and Sara Loutisha ( West ) Reed . Lula Marie meet and married Woodrow J. Wodard (1917-1999 ) , on 26th June 1937 in Havana , Yell County , Arkansas . Lula Marie was born on 31 December 1908 and passed away on 28 May 2000. When Lula Marie died it marked 100 family years , since Ida Mae Reed was born in 1900 . Lula Marie and Woodrow "Woody " never had any children . Lula Marie is buried beside her " Woody " in the Memorial Park Gardens Cemetery , in Amarillo , Texas .

Ida Mae , Effie Lee , Earl Reed , Jessie H and Lula Marie Reed are the grandchildren of Enoch David Christopher and Sara Lourisha ( West ) Reed ; also Littleton and Rebecca ( Woodall ) Farmer , Hunt , Johnston .
